1st grade playdate

This week we got together with a few other 1st graders to welcome a new student and chat.  Samantha's school principal came, which is one of the things that I love about the school.  The principal is a warm and caring guy.  Even though the weather wasn't perfect, the rain held off until a minute after we left and it was nice to spend some more time with Samantha.

I like to be involved with her school because it gives me a perspective I wouldn't have otherwise.  Samantha seems to appreciate my involvement and until her feelings change, I'll be there.
